The Future of the Castro Theatre
San Francisco’s Historic Preservation Commission has indicated a plan to hold a meeting on February 1 to address the Castro’s proposed enhanced landmark status. We endorse the idea of the Castro as a multi-use venue but we think it’s important to honor filmgoing among its uses. The Castro Theatre is not yet on their agenda for the 1st, but we will keep you posted.
