The Program
SFSFF 2012 featured 17 marvelous programs over four days. Our centerpiece presentation of Pandora’s Box accompanied by the Matti Bye Ensemble was a truly exceptional experience, playing to a sold out crowd in the magnificent environs of the Castro Theatre! The 2011 SFSFF Award was presented to the Telluride Film Festival.
The Musicians
Music is an absolutely integral element of each and every San Francisco Silent Film Festival event. Our 2012 festival was no different! The programs were accompanied by the diverse and indelible talents of Alloy Orchestra, Stephen Horne, Dennis James, Matti Bye Ensemble, Mont Alto Motion Picture Orchestra, Donald Sosin, and Toychestra.
