Every San Francisco Silent Film Festival presentation is accompanied by live music by extraordinary artists from all around the world. Live music is absolutely essential to our mission to create faithful, unique live cinema experiences!
SFSFF events have features hundreds of musicians since the festival’s inception. Musicians come from all over the United States to accompany live events at the Castro Theatre. Renowned international artists travel to San Francisco every year to add their diverse talents to our one of a kind events.
