November 12–16 at the Orinda Theatre
We’ve finally found a home away from home while the Castro is being renovated, a place that fits us to a tee—a theater with a sizable movie screen, room to set up musicians, a large number of seats, and a vibrant neighborhood easily accessible by public transportation—the Orinda Theatre! The 1941 Art Deco-style Orinda Theatre is nestled in a lovely village with shops and restaurants, a four-minute walk from the BART station (Orinda is the first stop after you leave Oakland eastbound—a 30-minute ride from SF’s Civic Center and a mere eight minutes from MacArthur BART). Plus there’s parking! The complete program will be posted and tickets will go on sale on October 1. In the meantime, our Festival Pass is on sale now. Watch this space!
