The 26th San Francisco Silent Film Festival took place at the movie palace Castro Theatre July 12–16, 2023.
Beautiful films, superb music, enthusiastic audiences, 2023 was a success all around!

Five days of live-cinema programs!
Among the 23 festival programs were films from seven countries—all accompanied by extraordinary musicians from around the globe. Three SFSFF restorations—The Dragon Painter, Flowing Gold, and Padlocked—had their world premieres at the event!
