When you make a gift to the San Francisco Silent Film Festival, you are supporting the organization’s mission to present and preserve the art of silent cinema. Your support helps SFSFF to breathe life into these films and highlight their relevance for modern audiences by showcasing importatnt titles from the era, often in restored or preserved prints, with live musical accompaniment by some of the finest practitioners of putting music to film. Each presentation exemplifies the extraordinary quality Academy Award-winning film historian Kevin Brownlow calls “live cinema,” and furthers important preservation and restoration efforts around the world.
Contributions to the SFSFF are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. If you would like to make a donation and receive membership benefits, please contact us to discuss membership levels and tax deductibility.
